BAMA is very excited to invite you to our Summer Kickoff Weekend in Bear Valley on June 20, 21, and 22nd, OPEN TO ALL MIATA CLUBS.
Attached is the registration form and info. This is a Friday and Saturday night event at the beautiful Bear Valley Lodge- a ski resort in Winter, and land of gorgeous, twisty, mountainous roads and scenery in Summer! For folks not able to make Friday night, you are welcome to come up early Saturday morning. This Summer Solstice weekend is a pre-registration, event. If you can't register quite yet, please shoot me an e-mail if you intend to come. Register with us and send in those forms early though please, so we can have a general count for the event. Then, make your hotel reservations before MARCH 31st. If enough people send in their registrations to us, we can ADD MORE ROOMS, and since this promises to be big, please contact me ASAP. We only have a block or rooms now, and if we get enough response, we can book the hotel (65 rooms!) After March 31st, the hotel will be first come, first served.
We are featuring a welcome reception on Friday night, a Giant Car Show on Saturday morning, with awards in various categories.
Stunning runs will be planned for Saturday or you can adventure on your own. We are planning a run on the way up on mid-day Friday from the East Bay, for those who are interested- you can specify all of this on the registration form.
Registration is $60 per person (excluding lodging) and includes a Friday evening reception, Saturday evening and Sunday morning buffet, one event t-shirt, and the car show. Other meals are on our own, and we will wrap up after breakfast, or lunch on Sunday for us die-hards. Hotel reservation info is on the flyer- just tell them you are with the BAMA event. Any difficulty with that, please let me know right away.
Please fill out the attached registration form as soon as you can, and send it to the address listed. You can pay by PayPal, or send a check, but you need to mail in the form to register. If paying by PayPal (link is on the form), you specify the amount matching the form you are sending in. Then, please shoot me an e-mail to let me know you have registered. Sounds complicated, but I assure you, it's waaaay more complicated on this end, and really helps to have a heads up.
BAMA has held weekend events here in the past, and they were huge, with people having a blast of a memorable time, and this time, we are creating an event t-shirt. We will be sending out further details as they develop, but mark your calendars, and get in on this thrilling weekend event!
