We had so much fun in 2005 that we are already planning to go again in 2007.  So we have decided to lead a group and make it a "Vacation Run", touring the National Parks of the Southwest.  In addition to visiting the parks near Moab, Arches and Canyonlands National Parks, we will also visit Zion, Bryce, Grand Staircase/Escalante, Mesa Verde and the Grand Canyon.  The length of the trip 5/13--5/26, if you are interested in joining us for any part of this trip, mark your calendars for a two week trip.

The headquarter hotel, Best Western Canyonlands, has been completely booked up for this event. But the Utah club has arranged for a second hotel nearby. Details on that hotel can be found at the Miata's in Moab site.  

It's really not too early to sign up for this FREE event.  Granted, there are hotel, meal and travel expenses but the event itself costs you nothing. The event is drawing Miata enthusiasts from all over the US.  In fact people are traveling from North Carolina, Massachusetts and New Hampshire and will be joining us on our longer "Nat'l Parks Run tour" which includes the Moab III event.
 If you want a room close to the hotel, call 1-435-259-2300 to make your reservation.  If they are booked up, there are lots and lots of other hotels available in Moab.
