Host: Tori Bakker 9/7/2003SOCALM presents their fourth “Best of the Bunch” Car show. Miata owners come from far away to compete in this fun activity. They get cars with thousands of dollars worth of awesome accessories and some with wild modifications. Miata owners are really something when it comes to their cars. Some change the looks, some create more horse power, and some enhance the handling capabilities of their cars. But most of all they share the love of a little sports car. You hardly ever find two Miata’s that look the same. Just about everyone has a little something that they liked to change on their car. That is what makes this car show so special, you get to show the public that the Miata is a durable and dependable little car. There are members in the clubs that show their cars that have low mileage 7,000 miles or less. Some have 250,000 Miles and never have had any major problems other than the usual maintenance of the vehicle. I guess that's what they do with the money they save, they buy accessories!

Join the MiataFun Club. It’s FREE $00.00 T hat’s right. We have started the “MiataFun Club” for those new people buying a Miata that are unsure that they want to join a club for $25.00 a year. Well now they can join a club and actually get a membership badge ($5.00) ordered right from the badge makers and receive it in 3-5 days. The first 50 Members get a special Membership number and a certificate with their number on it to display where ever they wish. They can have their membership number put on their badge to show how low their number is! After a trial run with a Miata club they can join one in their area, start receiving their news letters, discounts and what ever the club provides to their members. So if you want to be one of those “low number” members send in your information to MiataFun. You can find information at the MiataFun website at http://miatafun.net (Charter memberships only for the first 50 members.) You still can put your membership number on your badge if you would like. Some of the things we provide are information on runs as we receive information to put on the web site. If you have a run send it to us and we will put it on our website for all to see.
