Join the MiataFun Club. Take a trial run with a sanctioned Miata club. Then when you see how much fun you can have, you can join one in your area, start receiving their e-mail, news letters, discounts and what ever the club provides to their members. You can find information at the MiataFun website at http://www.miatafun.net . W e provide information on runs as we receive it, and post it on our web site. If you have a run, send it to us and we will put it on our website for all to see.Here is our Logo a smiling Mx5

______ Tom and Marna-- We would like to take this time to thank all our
supporters of MiataFun Club and all our other Miata Clubs we belong to: Well this is the start of a new year! Already we have been on the “Hangover Run” the first run of the year with 85 other Miata enthusiast. SAMOA had to postpone their hangover run till Sunday after the bad weather cleared. SOCALM along with a few other clubs, have sent us some information on upcoming runs. We hope to see you at some of these runs so we can meet you and share some stories and ideas with you. This year also is the 15th year of the production of the Miata Roadster. As you may or may not know the Miata is in for a name change of sorts. Miata’s will now be known and listed as the MX-5. So you will notice that the MiataFun heading list is “For the MX5 Enthusiast” Look for the new Special MX5 TURBO version. 173HP. A limited production is being made for the Mazda Market. (3000). Remember MiataFun is here for you. Please let everyone you see know you belong to a Miata (MX5) Club and let them know how much fun it is for the money. Our idea is for everyone of us to spread the word, wave at your fellow Miata drivers, and invite everyone you meet to a social or event to get to see what a great family they can belong to. MiataFun supports all the Miata Clubs, not just the ones we have joined so if you have an event please send us the information. we want to join in and see what your club has to offer. Just a note, Marna Wood will be running for President of SOCALM so if you would like to see an exciting year ahead of us cast your vote, Marna has been an asset to the SOCALM Club since she joined in ‘98 and got her own membership in ‘99 and has been an active member putting on runs and getting in committees for club functions such as the Best of the Bunch Cars shows Etc. At present she is the “Editor of the REWARD” and has done an excellent job. She also helps gather information from clubs to put on our MiataFun website calendar from the clubs sending us information. We started MiataFun to have a place to share our pictures from the runs. Now it has grown to serving other clubs at no cost to them to place run information and links for pictures to their websites etc. After all we are one big family.
