THE GLACIER PARK TOUR; 2009

SPONSORED BY THE

SACRAMENTO AREA MIATA OWNERS ASSOCIATION

February 15, 2009

This trip is presented by Randy & Pam Hunt, Mike & Jennifer Sipe, and Bob & Terri Bacon.   As currently planned, the trip will consist of 3 days of traveling there, 2 days around the park, with one nights stay at Waterton, Alberta (so bring your passports).  The return trip will also be three days with the last night stay near Crater Lake, Oregon, with perhaps a drive around the lake and a stop at the Crater Lake Lodge.  We may alter the planned route to take advantage of any more twisty fun roads we might find.

There has be been no pre-run, so miles and drive times are based on information from yahoo maps.  We will try to get a listing of dining options for each major town along the way.  A listing of lodging options is included. The ones highlighted in yellow are our proposed lodging.  You will note that some do not yet have the courtesy blocks arranged. One more block is in progress (La Quinta in Ritzville, WA) and should be completed by Monday, Feb 16. The places in the parks would not do courtesy blocks, so call those as soon as you can.   Additional details will be provided soon.
