Description: The Puke O Rama 2005 begins and ends in the same spot...Dalton's Roadhouse in San Marcos.
We will meet at Dalton's for the $10 buffet breakfast at 9 am.  Dalton's is again opening early for us.  Drivers meeting will be at 10 am in the patio of Dalton's, NOT IN THE PARKING LOT.  First car out at approximately 10:15 to 10:30.

The first group will return to Dalton's between 3:30 and 4.  Dalton's patio area will be set up for us to eat again when we return.  Good food...

The Puke is an annual event to put smiles on the faces of the drivers. It also has proven to put an unsettled feeling in the stomach of the passenger. We drive the twistiest roads that we can find, back to back to back in a loop that starts and ends at Dalton's Roadhouse. We have the opportunity to eat before and after we drive.

The Puke is always SOCALM friendly as it starts and ends in North San Diego County. The uniqueness of the Puke is that we break the cars into 5 smaller groups for the best driving experience. Two of the groups drive the route going one direction and the other 3 groups drive the route going the opposite way. It makes for a lot of waving along the way. The run leaders of each of the groups are experienced in leading runs and in leading the Puke.

The Daffodil Group, lead by the lovely Laurie Waid, has been established for those whose driving desires seek a more leisurely pace allowing time to smell the daffodils which are in bloom in the mountains and around Julian. For those of you that have driven roads in San Diego County, you might recognize Couser Canyon, Lilac Road, Palomar Mountain West Grade (S6), Palomar Mountain East Grade (S7), Mesa Grande Road, Wynola Road, Old Julian Highway, Highland Valley Road, and our signature road...Engineer Road. There are more, but just come and experience them.
