The 2010 Puke is set for Sunday, March 28th, 2010

Put it on your calendar! Check your tire pressure! Clean the windshield! Your Fun Factor may vary!

The 13th running of the Puke will NOT be unlucky. Why, you ask? Because we are going to share the fun. This will be the "pay back" to the Corvette Owners Club of San Diego. After they hosted us at their event in September, we still owe them a good "driving" time.

We will have more cars and more people than ever before. That means we will have more groups and more to talk about after we drive.

As convention requires, we will meet at Dalton's Roadhouse in San Marcos at 9 am for the breakfast buffet that they prepare especially for us. Corvettes and Miata's will gather in the parking lot pending the 10 am drivers meeting in the patio. It is likely that the drivers meeting will last a little longer in 2010 as we expect to split more cars into more groups. Hopefully we will have the first group launched by about 10:30.

For the uninitiated, we split into groups of no more than 15 cars to enhance the driving fun. This is a driving event, created for the enjoyment of the driver first. We put together, back to back, as many of San Diego County's twistiest roads. This has resulted in some passengers turning different shades of green. Hence, the event name.

The course is an elongated figure eight with two pit stops at Dudley's Bakery factored in. The driving groups alternate leaving and driving the course in opposite directions thus creating crossing patterns and meeting other groups at different points along the course.

The end of the course is back at Dalton's. With groups beginning to arrive at about 3 pm, Dalton's opens up its patio for us again as we order off of their fabulous menu and enjoy the embellishments of another great Miata and Corvette event.

What to expect:
1. Driving the twistiest roads that we can put together.
2. Multiple run groups to have no more than 10 to 15 cars in a run group.
3. As many as 60 to 80 total cars at the event (assuming good weather) 4. 7 individual run groups 5. 150 mile course that is an elongated figure eight that stops at Dudley's Bakery twice for pit stops.
6. Run groups alternately drive the course in opposite directions.
7. Because we are returning a favor with our good friends from the Corvette Owners Club of San Diego (the oldest Corvette Club in the world) there will be Corvettes in our midst.
8. Special run group(s) for those that would rather enjoy the scenery than experiencing the reason for the name of the event.
9. Commemorative and collectable barf bags provided. (Known to fail after repeated use)

1. Be Safe
2. Have Fun
3. Rain or Shine Event
