Join us for some of the most fun you can have. . in or out of your car
at the second (not quite annual) Car Rally for Scholarships.
Important information:
When: June 13th - meet at 10:30 AM.
Where: We will meet under the sign at the Westfield Mall North County. The end point is Cocina del Charro in Escondido.
How much? Entry per car: $40 includes the donation and one dinner; additional riders (and dinners) - $20 each.
What does this include? A fun rally (described below) ; dinner and celebration, trophies, many door prizes, a raffle drawing. ..and more fun!
How do I sign up?: visit the Website: www.wwggd.org and click on “Car Rally” for information and registration forms. Consider signing up with a team. . .or come as an individual and we will place you on a team!
Rally info:
· The competition (and trophies awarded) will be by "team". We will place you on a team by CAR COLOR, or you may enter as a team,(group of friends, car club, etc.)
· If you want to enter a team – it should consist of about 8 – 10 people (4 – 5 Miatas, for example). But - all types of vehicles are welcome.
· You will indicate your preference – entering as a team or individual – on the registration!
· Each team will represent one of the World Cup participating countries and travel some of the best roads in San Diego county.
· If your team registers in advance. . .you may request your “country” and don their colors, if you’d like. We will have small flags for each car.
· This is not a race or speed event. . it is a FUN rally, that the whole family can participate in!
· At each checkpoint site, there will be competition involving trivia knowledge, puzzles, games and "skill" events.
Fundraising aspect: The rally raises money to fund several scholarships for deserving soccer players from local soccer clubs.
