Subject: SJVMC - "Coastal Cruise update"

Hi All,
The 2005 Coastal Cruise is shaping up. As usual, we'll depart the Denny's parking lot at Jensen and 99 at 9:00 a.m. sharp, and we should be able to meet our friends at the "Kettleman City Carl's Jr. around 10:00AM", and the "James Dean Memorial in Cholame around 10:45AM". From there, we'll be exploring some beautiful new (to us) roads in the area, before our lunch at “The Pit Stop” in Paso Robles. We've learned that the restaurant at the old Fort Hunter Liggett officer's club has reopened, so we're planning to have our Sunday lunch in this beautiful building Julia Morgan designed for William Randolph Hearst. (No need to carry a picnic.)

If you haven't already made motel reservations, please do so now. Our discounted rate will not be available for reservations made after January 30. Call the Silver Surf at (800) 621-3999, and let them know you're with the Miata Club group. Please also let Van know if you're planning to attend, and if you're planning to join us for Saturday dinner or Sunday breakfast. If you'll be crossing the army base with us, Van will also need your driver's license number and your car's license number, to satisfy base security. He can be reached at (559) 255-7113.

We'll look forward to seeing you.
Don
