"BLUE SKY" SDMC in the morning, SOCALM in the evening, and Dallas Fort Worth Tomorrow! That is the schedule that Eberhard Homann had when he visited the Southern California Miata Clubs. We had a variety of colors of cars present for an afternoon of conversations and picture taking.
Tom Wood and Eberhard Homann posing for a picture. We were given copies of "Blue Sky" magazine to examine.
Here members Karen Thomas, Juli and Bob Davis pose for a picture with Eberhard.
A lot of pictures were taken of various positions. We moved cars around etc.
Since we were taking pictures of engines etc, I thought you might like to see that I finally found time to install my headers I got for X-Mas! Yes I know X-Mas was seven months ago but I just could not find a weekend that I was not doing anything to install them! Remember Mazda said to get in and be moved! (they never said to get out!) My 1999 has 131,766 Miles 7/18/2002. :-)
After picture taking we went into the restaurant for dinner.
We talked about Miata's around the world and what they cost, and how some countries you have to pay to be able to buy a Miata! Boy do we have it easy.
We showed some of our run books and the events that we have done over the past three - four years. We explained how our club was growing and the interest in the Miata has not slowed down in sales in the U.S. Especially with the introduction of the M-2's new design and wide variety of color choices. We want to thank the members of SOCALM that joined us for the evening. When the magazine is published we will have a PDF file emailed to us to view the pictures of the cars. We will put that on the web when we get it from BlueSky.
