Orange show Speedway, our third
year at the track. Racing was really different this year. as you can see the NASCAR cars are a bit smaller! Hmmm. . . . .

Cars came as far away as Santa Barbara to San Diego, and LA, to San Bernardino.

The weather was perfect, not to hot and a steady breeze.

Here we gathered to watch the races with new members and Old timers

Hey Zack, your supposed to be up here with us. (More later)

Well intermission came around and now it's SOCALM's turn to burn up the track!

I recognize that light pattern. It's ODO getting ready to cross the finish line.

ODO sported the American flag for the occasion. Here Zack signs autographs? (More)

Okay so Zack gets a first place trophy in the main heat! Not to mention the cool cash! Okay so Zack did not run the race, he was given the trophy by the first place winner of the "Main event Heat
race". He got to pick who was going to win the race and of course chose the right car! The driver had a house full of trophies and decided to give it to Zack. So everyone that came to the Orange Show
could have had a chance to be the person to walk away with the nights first place trophy. Congratulations to Zack Broadbent .

Here we gathered after the races for that ice-cream, or what ever you were hungry for, and to talk about the fun we had at the races. During the night we had a special gift! A flag that had the SOCALM logo and
the date of the races 6/22/2002. the flag was given randomly by when you signed in. The winner was the person to sign in as number "18" and the winner was "Terry Meyers" Congratulations to
Terry.
I would personally like to thank all of my friends that came out for this yearly Race Party and Car Show. As we found out the track was under new "track
management" and we will talk with them to make next year even better.
Thanks again, See you next Year.
