Wood Description: This run is one of the oldest traditional runs in SOCALM. This year we will try to combine features from various runs from the past. For many years, the Denny’s Restaurant in San Bernardino was the starting point for any run on the east end. Once again we will gather in their parking lot. We will then wind our way through the hills of Redlands as we make our way to Highway 38 and the back road up to Big Bear. After enjoying lunch, we will wind our way through Running Springs, Lake Gregory, and other mountain communities before heading down the north side of the mountain past Lake Silverwood. The official end of the run will be at Ontario Mills Mall. For those who are hungry again, we will pick out a restaurant from the many available before departing to our many corners of Southern California. Directions: Your destination is the I-215 and Orange Show Road in San Bernardino. Denny’s is on the corner of Orange Show Road and E Street, behind the Chevron station. From LA, head east on the I-10 to San Bernardino, transition to the I-215 north. Exit at Orange Show Road (the first exit). Turn right, and then turn immediately left into the gas station. From Orange County, take the 91 freeway east, which becomes the I-215 in Riverside. Exit at Orange Show Road and follow the directions above.
