19. Bill and Gaye Koepp

If anybody else has recently signed up and does not appear on this list, please contact me at any of the numbers listed at the bottom of this notice, or just reply to this e-mail, so that I can get everyone recorded correctly.

Dennis and Marla are looking for room mates for this run so if anybody would like to save some money by sharing a room just call or e-mail them or me. Please allow me to reiterate that it is imperative that we leave the start at 9:00 am sharp on Saturday morning (see trip details below). Please arrive early so that you are relaxed and ready for the time of your life by 9:00 am.
TracQuest Racing School, has graciously allowed us some lap time on the big
speedway at Willow Springs before our lunch at Tehachapi on day one. Please note however, that this will be a group cruise around the nine turns of Willow, and not hot laps; so, no passing allowed : )

The reason for our precise departure time is twofold. A) In order to drive the super speedway at Willow Springs, we must arrive before there lunch break or we lose our chance, and B) I have added an essential piece of road to the morning run (when you see it Marna, you'll understand).
Regarding the lodge, there are approximately SEVEN rooms still available, so please
make your reservation for Saturday night with Alice Schlick, 760-376-6033, as soon as possible. Imagine how great it will be to see a parking lot completely full of Miatas at this brand new hotel!!
Please remember to bring breakfast items or buy something in Kernville for Sunday morning (or buy big and have some leftovers from Saturday night). There are kitchenettes at the lodge with everything else you'll need to prepare breakfast.
Lastly, I implore all who have signed up to please bring some kind of CB radio with
them. Not only will there be some interesting sights accompanied by an audio tour via radio, but it will help us to be more safe if needing to warn one another of oncoming traffic in close quarters; some roads are quite narrow.

The weekend is fast approaching and I don't know about you all, but I'm getting more excited with each passing day. Don't forget your cameras!!
