OK, Socalmers… the 4th of July falls this year on a Sunday and Monday
the 5th is a holiday, so we can really celebrate the 4th on the 4th and
all of you are welcome to attend. Bring the kids if you want (I have a
pool).
As this is a pot luck, please bring your favorite foods to share with
all your Miata buddies. I will have the BBQ hot so you can bring stuff
to throw on it. The most important rule is: Don't bring enough food for
an army because leftovers that won't fit in my fridge will be given to
you to take home. Rule of thumb is to bring enough for 8 to 10 people.
NO WATERMELON or ICE CREAM – both are two darn messy. |
DIRECTIONS:
Take 405 or 5 freeway North to 118
West. Get off at Balboa Blvd. (2nd exit). Turn left (south at the bottom
of the offramp). Go to the second signal (San Fernando Mission) turn
right onto San Fernando Mission. Pass 1 signal, 2 stop signs and a
second signal (Zelzah). Make a left at the first street after Zelzah
(this is Lindley). After turning onto Lindley, count 3 streets on the
right hand side (do not count the streets on your left). The 3rd street
is Tulsa STREET (not Place) - turn right onto Tulsa Street...It is a cul
de sac and my house is 5th house into the cul de sac. Light blue with
brick on the front, white garage door...There is a flag flying in the
front...
If coming from the valley area, take Reseda or Tampa north to
Chatsworth. Turn right on Chatsworth turn left on Lindley. Count 3
streets on your left hand side the 3rd street is Tulsa STREET turn left
onto Tulsa Street..It is a cul de sac and my house is 5th house into the
cul de sac. Light blue with brick on the front, white garage
door...There is a flag flying in the front. |
