Devil’s Punchbowl Run

Joining us on this run will be a special group of people from the Netherlands.  The Netherlands Miata group, consisting of 14 people and 7 Miatas will be driving up from Oceanside to participate.  They will be in the U.S. to visit Mazda North America in Irvine and then they plan to spend 16 days exploring California. After the run they will be heading to Barstow in their rented Miatas to spend the night, and the next morning they will be going to Death Valley. 

This run will start at the McDonald's restaurant at the Cajon Junction on the 15. (We really suggest you use the restroom facilities at McDonald’s before we leave.)  The run will take us through Lone Pine Canyon, along the Big Pines Highway, and the Angeles Crest Highway. 

There will be a short stop at the Devil’s Punchbowl. Warning; this is the only stop along the run and the restroom facilities are pit toilets. The run will end in Wrightwood where you can do some shopping in a charming mountain town or dine in one of the restaurants. If you’re like me, very often we drive right by Wrightwood, but now you will have the opportunity and reason to stop and explore.
