Miata Kevin La Rue
In 2001, I wanted a late model Miata, but only had a $12k budget. So I decided to go after the most recent model I could get, and being somewhat finicky towards this, wanted the most-optioned factory model I could get. I decided on a '97 M-edition. The Emerald Mica is a fine color, but if I was shopping new it would not be my first choice. However, it is damned cool. Modifications to the car include an Autopower rollbar, Koni shocks & Racing Beat springs, and a Jackson Racing CAI. Otherwise stock. Oh, and the timing has been advanced. "Wish list" includes a "big brake kit" (cuz they look so cool), real gauges, more powerful audio, racing stripes, and a new exhaust. I can't afford a supercharger right now (but if anyone wants to GIVE me one, I'd gladly accept). I'm a member of the MOC and the San Diego Miata Club. The SDMC is an awesome organization. Cheers,
